His story:

The day l had a stroke was February 18, 2019. After I had surgery, I went to South Shore rehabilitation center. Carotid artery disease was my condition.

When you're in rehab, time stands still.

I did have a regimental schedule for physical therapy and brain activities but time was, now. It felt as if it were Groundhog Day, I would just go with the flow. There was generosity from the nurses, doctors clinicians and the staff. I was overwhelmed by the kindness. I felt humble.
