Cindy Lam Walker
Cindy is the founder of Aphasia Forward and hosts multiple groups.
She lives in Atlanta with her husband.
Her story:
“Before my stroke, I was a Treasury Officer at State Street. I loved my job & my salary. I cared about money then.
On March 19, 2019, I had a ruptured brain aneurysm. With my stroke, my entire life changed. I knew how difficult it was to read & talk. Now, I can read & talk but I still want to be better!
I don’t care about money anymore. I had gained many Aphasia friends. We are part of our journeys together. That’s why Aphasia Forward will be here for all of us to help each other and to grow together!”
