Her story:

I am a retired Certified Financial Planner, stroke survivor and aphasia advocate.

On September 29, 2022, I had a stroke caused by a clot during heart surgery.

While I recovered physically, I now struggle with aphasia and apraxia.

I enjoy attending the Aphasia Zoom class, 3-4 book clubs, reading, and outdoor activities like walking, biking, and swimming with my grandkids.
